I'm BACK!
I'm BACK in the saddle again
Aerosmith - "Back in the Saddle" - Rocks - 1976
After delays covering years, this site went semi-live on January 1, 2023. It was ready to go on Xmas Eve, but I didn't have the heart to do that and it got pushed back yet another week.
In Phase One, it will not be promoted and access past the front page is restricted to those who have been given a hyperlink.
At exactly 2000h on 1/1/23, I sent each of the 4 Flozzers the same text - the STP quote from atop the 2023 index page, "Here I come...", and nothing else.
Late the next morning, I sent each of them an email that thanked 'em for the good, razzed 'em for the bad, briefly explained the situation, and referred them to this site. Also, an email was sent to Kimmy, Neila's attorney with a link to her page in this saga and some other info that will be posted here soon.
Then, I turned off my phone and computer and had a pleasant day.
We took odds on whether any replies would come. My staff and I agreed there would very likely be none. Lisa, though, estimated that our favorite 7empest - Princess Corn Log - would absolutely reply, stew for a spell, then reply again AND that her words would be weird and disingenuous, or the like.
Again and again, Lisa has had the Flozberks' number, prevailing EVERY time our predictions differed. Every. Single. Time.

The first reply came via text right after I sent the emails. It was the first direct communication from them since the day before Tasha was killed.
Clearly, The Princess had seen the "Here I come..." text, but had NOT yet checked her email, resulting in something of a hoot. Yowza! We dig hoots, see.

It took 4 years for that poorly cloaked threat? I'll tell you, it doesn't eat me up inside because you are never on my mind. I'm not playing your petulant games. Take your temper tantrums elsewhere. ✌️
Just under a half-hour later came a second reply, remarkable in that it was clearly not written by an idiot:
Princess Corn Log
11:59:17
A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once.
It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come.
Well, unless you consider Shakespeare, who, like Dad, is said to have died on his birthday, an idiot. I sure don't.
The first part of the quote, from Julius Caesar, Act II, Scene 2, was used by me in Mom's obituary when Ms. Log and I collaborated on it 7 and 1/2 years ago in friendlier days. Mom and I were very partial to that great play.
The second part is a continuation, but skips line 1010, perhaps for brevity.
An interesting choice of reply. What's the meaning? We were unsure, but one thing's for DAMN sure - I've had to stare death long and hard, straight in the eyes, in the last year and I most certainly earned my valiant pin and then some. I've no fear of death. None, and 50+ years under The Flozberk Way makes that doubly true. What's two times none?
Seeing any of these cretins quoting The Bard stings, for sure. It's just...wrong, like putting thong panties on a pig...and a male pig at that! I hereby counter The Princess with a much more topical and relevant quote of his:
Have more than you show, speak less than you know.
Hold My Beer and Watch THIS!
Now, let's have a closer look-see at the first reply:
It took 4 years for that poorly cloaked threat?
Disappointed at a perceived quantitative and qualitative lack of pushback from me, eh, Princess? ROFLMAO!
Yes, clearly she had not yet checked her email and remained unaware of this site. LOLZ! Uh, talk about a "Hold my beer and watch this, darlin'" moment!
Hey, Princess: Hold my beer an' watch this, will ya, darlin'? Next...
I'll tell you,
I know you're you, and that texts tell, and that I'm me. Kindly refrain from wasting our time. Next......
it doesn't eat me up inside
Whether Princess Corn Log is eaten up inside is not of significant concern to me - I'm aiming much, MUCH higher - and, frankly, I've had to face the doings of her insides quite a bit more than I fancy. Next......
because you are never on my mind.
Whether I weigh upon Princess Corn Log's mind is not of significant concern to me. That said, I've a hunch that her claim was not historically accurate and sure as shit ain't true now. Next...
I'm not playing your petulant games.
Many problems with this one. Petulant? Hardly! I was in great spirits when I sent it and remain so. Just a foreboding song quote, no petulance involved. Ask for a dictionary for your next birfday, girlfriend.
Games? Hardly! I'm as serious as pancreatic cancer reading Kierkegaard.
Not playing? Hardly! You replied, festered, then replied again. I sent 13 words. You sent over 70 (and an emoji)! Thanks for playing. Next...
Take your temper tantrums elsewhere.
Temper tantrums? Hardly! A foreboding song quote is not temper tantrums (plural, too!). People who live free of anger don't have temper tantrums. Ask for two dictionaries for your next birfday, girlfriend. Ya needs a backup copy! Next...
Oh, that's all. LOL! That was plenty, though.
What an EXQUISITE representation of The Flozberk Way! 47 months later, she glides right back into the groove of idiocy and misrepresentation. Seriously, look at her work, especially the outrageous tantrums claim, and consider it in the context of the material on this site.
The ability of these people to shoot from the hip and craft a false reality is downright majestic.
Plus ca change
Plus c'est la meme chose
The more that things change
The more they stay the same
Rush - "Circumstances" - Hemispheres - 1978
This couldn't have gone any better. Thank you, Princess. I mean, like, DAMN! I don't expect she'll be bestowing much more of that sort of mind candy on us, though.
Should such occur, I shan't reply.
I'm Not Obsessing; I'm Just Curious
I can't help but be reminded of one of my all-time favorite film moments, from the masterpiece American Beauty. Jane shoots from the hip and recklessly spews nonsense about Ricky being an obsessing psycho. Ricky smoothly sets her straight and stands his ground, subtly amicable and intrigued. Jane, unnerved, breaks her gaze, surrendering.
Actually, Tiffany reminds me a good deal of the blonde windbag Angela character to Jane's left. Watch the superb scene HERE.
Yes, indeed, the more that things change, the more they stay the same.
